Girls Can't Catch - Echo Performance On The Alan Titchmarsh Show

Here is a live performance (I repeat LIVE) of Girls Can't Catch performing their new single "Echo" on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. I love how they actually sing live and are not scared to sing live. I love The Saturdays but they don't always sing live even though they have the potential to, which annoys me. So I am glad to see Girls Can't Catch actually sing live and it weren't too bad. I love this song and it can be downloaded from iTunes or purchased from the shops. I can't wait for their debut album to come out because I think it has potential and from the tracks I have heard it will definitely be good.
But anyways on to the video:

Rihanna's Great Performance On Oprah For Haiti Relief

Rihanna performed her rendition of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song" on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Rihanna is just one of many performers who have got together to raise money to help Haiti. Take a look at her performance which I think is delivered very well compared to many other previous performances of her songs.

Also remember that the song can be downloaded from US iTunes so make sure you go and BUY it and SUPPORT Haiti as every little helps. Thank you!

Lady Gaga Live On Oprah

I might be late posting this but I have only just come across it. It is a much better quality video than was previously posted on some sites. This has to be one of Lady Gaga's best performance on a show. She sings a medley of Monster, Bad Romance and Speechless. Take a look as it is very good and one of her best performances I think.

Tell me what are your views? Do you like Lady Gaga? Do you like these songs? What did you think of the performance?

New Artist: Ellie Goulding

I thought I would post about new artist "Ellie Goulding" as I would have been seeing her perform at the Brit Awards 2010 Nominations on Monday but was unable to go. So I have researched her to see who she is, and what songs she has produced.

Ellie Goulding is a 23 year old english singer/songwriter/guitarist who is signed to Polydor Records.
Her debut single was released last year called "Under The Sheets" but failed to make a proper impact when it only reached 53 in the UK singles chart.
She has taken a second shot with her new single "Starry Eyed". This song is due to be released on 22nd February 2010 followed by her debut album being released on 1st March 2010.
Here is the video to her second single "Starry Eyed":

The song is OK but does not have a huge impact on me to be honest. I think she needs to come out with something a lot better than this to catch on. I may be wrong but it just don't capture me the way some debut songs have, e.g. Pixie Lott's Mama Do & The Saturdays Up. I know that The Saturdays released a song before but I am comparing the first two songs released from each artist.

I will be sure to look out for Ellie Goulding and see if anything grabs me but at this moment in time I am not too bothered, which may sound harsh, but if she comes out with something more then I am willing to give her another chance.
What do you think of Ellie Goulding? Do you like her songs?
