Single Cover Listen: Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World)

Rihanna is back with a new single titled 'Only Girl (In The World' and album titled 'Loud' which will be released sometime in November. In case you have been hiding underneath a rock or something, then check out the single cover and listen to the single below:

The track was not what I was expecting, but nevertheless it is quite good. It does take a few listens before it reaches impact, but I think that this era may be good for her. Its definitely a different direction from the dark 'Rated R' era.

Rihanna's New Single 'Cheers' In Less Than 10 Days!

I apologise that I have neglected the blog over the past few months, but I am back and will be posting news and links whenever possible. First, I have some news on the new Rihanna single from her upcoming fifth studio album. The song is now claimed to be called 'Cheers' instead of previous reports of a song titled 'Only Girl'.

Rihanna took to her Twitter page earlier today to report that the new song will be out in less than 10 days! See what she wrote here.

Rihanna Back Recording + New Single For Late Summer

So Rihanna is back in the recording studio and is currently recording her next album. Other news has also said that her first single from the new album will be released towards the end of the Summer. This obviously means that there will be no more singles from her Rated R album.

I am intrigued to hear what her new material will sound like because I got bored of her Rated R era too quickly for my liking so lets hope she comes bigger and better with this next one.

Watch: Rihanna's Te Amo Video

Here is the video to Rihanna's next single 'Te Amo' taken from her Rated R album. I actually really like this song and was glad that it got a single release. I first heard the song last year when it leaked and have loved it since. So automatically I had ideas of how a video would look. And this video is nothing like you expect it to be. She has continued the dark theme, which really don't fit with the song in my opinion. This is supposed to be a song which has a positive feel. But this video has transformed it into something else. I'm sorry Rihanna but a beach, etc. would have been enough, why oh why did you do go this direction for this song??!!

So Rihanna's next single will be 'Photographs' featuring Will.I.Am. Oh Rihanna, what have you done?! Seriously, how could you make this song 3rd single. Just because it features Will.I.Am. I think it is just as boring as '3 Words' and I cannot see it being much of a hit. There are sooo many better songs on the album, e.g. Firebomb. Check out the cover for the single below:
