Introducing Rox...

Another new artist who I have just discovered and she is really really good. Rox (full name Roxanne Tataei) is half iranian, half Jamaican Londoner who makes soul music. She is signed to Rough Trade Records and her debut album will be out sometime in 2010. She has released a few songs but her main track which has just been released in the UK is called 'My Baby Left Me'. So I heard about this through a forum and then came across it very shortly afterwards. I have been extremely busy for the past couple of days, but thought I would post it now. Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' Video Is A Hit!

Yes, as you may have heard by now, Lady Gaga & Honey B's 'Telephone' video is an absolute hit! you may either love or hate it (like marmite) but despite the split of opinion it has become increasingly popular worldwide.
Everyone has been talking about this video, and the fact that it reached 13,000,000 views on YouTube within the first three days of its premiere is amazing. Since then, the number of views is now at 18,000,000. This is still amazing.
Because the video has gained so much publicity, it has brought news in more ways than one. It was apparently reported that the video was banned on MTV. This looks like the news is fake, and I am glad as that is pathetic.
Anyways, whatever your view is on this video, their is no denying that this video is amazing and Lady Gaga is a genius for building up such a hype and making this a hit like it rightfully deserves to be.
