Confirmed: Jennifer Lopez Signed To Def Jam For New Album

After news that Jennifer Lopez had been dropped from her record company and that her upcoming album 'Love?' was to be scrapped. News came that the singer was still working on the album and lots of rumours occurred as to her being signed to a new label.
It has now been confirmed by Jennifer Lopez herself that she is now signed to Def Jam! It is also rumoured that L.A. Reid will produce Jennifer's new album.

I am really pleased that J-Lo has been given another chance and that 'Love?' will actually see the light of day. I really think there was some pleasing material and that this album would be good. I still have high hopes and hope that the album does get released this year.

Another new Jennifer Lopez song has leaked, and this one is called 'Story Of My Life'. The song is OK, but better songs have leaked. I really want the HQ of Everybody's Girl - I would prefer that over this!

Jennifer Lopez Performs Two New Songs On SNL

If you thought we might have heard the last of J-Lo, then you're wrong. She performed two new songs on Saturday Night Live. The songs were called 'Pieces' and 'Starting Over'. I take it these are to come from her next album and that her album is actually going to happen, even after all the problems with record labels. The songs are both ballads and pretty good. I am really digging J-Lo this time round and wish that 'Everybody's Girl' would leak in HQ. Anyways, check both performances below:

Jennifer Lopez Live Performances!!

Here are a couple of performances from Jennifer Lopez when she performed in Italy recently. I know the first video is not live, but still she does really well and I love the song. The second video, I would argue is live but that is to be discussed. She performs a medley of her hits on the second, and I think she does great. Jennifer Lopez "Greatest Part Of Me"

A new track from Jennifer Lopez has leaked recently. The track is called "Greatest Part Of Me" and is supposedly from the recording sessions of her upcoming new album "Love?". I am not sure if the song is finished or not, but even so it is a decent song. I think the song will fit in nice with the album and so far I am liking all of the material I have heard.

New Music: Jennifer Lopez - Everybody's Girl (Full)

Jennifer Lopez's next single "Everbody's Girl" has finally leaked in full. It is only a radio rip so the quality isn't 100%. I can't wait for the HQ of this as I definitely think this will sound better in HQ. From first listen its a decent song, but after a few listens I can see that it will be grower. Hopefully this does well for J-Lo cos she deserves to make  a good comeback.

Preview: Jennifer Lopez - Everybody's Girl

Jennifer Lopez is to release "Everybody's Girl" internationally. It was played on German radio today and has leaked in full but has been taken down already. At the moment I can only find a one minute preview, however when a full version leaks, I will be sure to post about it.
Judging from the snippet it sounds quite good. It is a completely different sound from J-Lo and I never like basing a song just from a clip because they are usually better or can be worse than what the clip sounds. So I am gonna just waiting for the full version now...Hurry up!

More Jennifer Lopez...

So I have just posted an extended version of J-Lo's new single "Louboutins", but I am gonna post some more about her. Its no new information, but it is just stuff that I find interesting and that I must have missed last year. As I missed it I thought I would add it now...

Firstly, I came across one of J-Lo's recent tweets from her official twitter and she has stated that she is working on the Louboutins choreography - I assume this means for her new video - Woohoo can't wait! She also goes on to say that she is off to record a new song "What Is Love".

This last part of the statement really confused me as I searched in Google and found that "What Is Love" leaked last year. I'm guessing she is re-recording the song so that it sounds different or its a completely different song altogether. If anyone knows please leave a comment.

Here is the song (What Is Love) for those who may have not heard it (that includes me as I only just found out about it) and I must say that this song is just as great as Louboutins. It also features a Nelly Furtado song. A pat on the back for the person who guesses correctly!

I have also come across the official video for her song "Fresh Out The Oven". I must have completely dismissed this as I didn't even know this video even existed. Give me credit that I have listened to the song but that is about it. So for this sake I am going to post the video for everyone to watch (Just in case you missed it like me).

It looks like the version that J-Lo is going to be recording is "What Is Love" Part 2. This may be wrong, but please correct me as I would like to know.

New Music: Jennifer Lopez - Louboutins (Extended Version)

Here is the studio version to J-Lo's "Louboutins (Extended Version)". This is the version which she performs live. For example on the AMA's and the Ellen Show performances which she done. It has a dance break in the middle and sounds really good. I love this song anyways and must say its really catchy. The extended version adds more to it and I just can't wait to see what other material she has to offer.
