BET Awards 2010 Winners

I have posted the performances from the night, and now here is the full list of the winners. I will not include the whole list of nominees for each category as the winners are the only ones that really matter. Beyoncé and Lady Gaga did really well as they took the top honour at the wards show winning the Video Of The Year for the 'Video Phone' collaboration.
Nicki Minaj and Alicia Keys also had something to celebrate as they both won a few awards last night. Peek the full list of winners below:

I am really glad that Nicki Minaj won those awards because I have slowly grown to appreciate her. I was also glad to see that both Keke Palmer and Monica both won awards. I really love Keke and Monica's new album is the bomb.

Beyoncé 'Why Don't You Love Me' Video Premiere

Beyoncé's 'Why Don't You Love Me' may have been a bonus track that was left off the original version of her I Am... Sasha Fierce album, but it seems that Beyoncé has been crafty and has gone and created a video for this song, with much surprise to her fans.
I admit that I am not fond of this song, and I can see why it was only a bonus track, so I was disappointed to hear she had created a video for this song. The video may not be great, but it is decent, and even better, with images of Beyoncé (as B.B. Homemaker) polishing her Grammy's on a shelf. Here's a GIF of that exact moment, lol:

Rumour: Is Beyoncé Pregnant?

According to sources, Beyonce may be pregnant with her first child. All reports have been unconfirmed, so this may be untrue. But, sources say that Beyonce is resting and will continue to work throughout the pregnancy, and that Jay-Z is "Extremely happy".

This rumour has been going around for a little while and is still unconfirmed, and the source that the news comes from is not exactly a strong source, so do not take this as being official. If any official news/confirmation comes about then I will be sure to update, or post about it.

Lady Gaga & Beyoncé's 'Telephone' Video Premiere!

The moment you all have been waiting for. It needs no introduction...

So what are your initial thoughts? I personally thought it was amazing! I am not a fan of music videos as they bore me, but this one has kept me watching over and over again. I particularly loved the bit in the prison scene where the guards claim that Gaga has no dick (which we all knew anyways - stupid rumours). I can't believe how much I love this video and cannot wait to see how they will whittle it down to a 4 minute video suitable for TV.

Anyways, please comment your thoughts as I want to know whether you think it was worth all the hype?

Beyoncé: Teaching Beauty To Others

Check out this video about Beyoncé who has opened up a cosmetology centre in order to teach women about beauty. Apparently, Beyoncé donated all of the money from Cadillac Records in order to open the centre up. If you are a fan of Beyoncé then check this out:

Lady Gaga's 'Telephone' Video Release Date!!

Finally, a date has been confirmed for the release date of Lady Gaga's anticipated video for 'Telephone' featuring Beyoncé. It will be released on March 8th (Next Monday) - How soon is that! Seriously can't wait. It best be worth the hype it has caused!

Beyoncé: I Am...Sasha Fierce Era

As part of Beyoncé being the Artist Of The Month, here is the final post which looks at the different eras of Beyoncé. This focuses on 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' and the 'I Am Tour'.
This era is still kinda of occurring so things may still change from now on.
Beyoncé kicked off this album with a double single 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)/If I Were A Boy'. She scored #1's with both of these songs and the success continued when the album was released.
The album has produced many singles to date, which I will not post. She has also teamed up with Lady Gaga twice (once for the remix of 'Video Phone' and secondly for the song 'Telephone') and also Alicia Keys for her song 'Put It In A Love Song'.
This era got even better, when Beyoncé won a record breaking 6 grammy awards all in one night. This makes her the only solo female artist to have ever scooped 6 grammys in one night.
She is still on tour, but it is soon to be finished. This tour is expected to have grossed at least $1,000,000,000.
I really love this era, and Beyoncé just seems to be achieving more and more each minute. Of course, this comes with a price as there are so many haters out there who like to see her fail. I am glad she is still going and can prove these people wrong.

Beyoncé: B'Day Era

I continue my look at the different eras of Beyoncé as she is 24/7's Artist Of The Month. I have talked about the first two music eras of her life, and I am now onto the 'B'day' era. The album was released in 2006 and was re-released as a deluxe edition in 2007.
The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the UK album charts.
There was 8 singles released from the album. The biggest singles were 'Deja Vu', 'Irreplaceable' and 'Beautiful Liar'.
I will not go into this era too much, so I will finish off by posting a few videos from this era.

Here is a video taken on the set of Alicia Keys and Beyoncé's song "Put It In A Love Song". After this clip, I really can't wait to see what the video will be like. Beyoncé: Dangerously In Love Era

As part of Beyoncé being February's artist of the month, I am continuing with posting about the different eras of Beyoncé's career.

I have talked about the whole of her Destiny's Child days, so I am now onto the Dangerously In Love era. This era occurred whilst Destiny's Child went on hiatus.

So, in June 2003, Beyoncé released her debut solo album titled "Dangerously In Love".

This album featured quite a few collaborations and varied between uptempos, mid-tempos and slow songs.

The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 317,000 copies in its first week.

The album spawned four singles, "Crazy In Love", "Baby Boy", "Me, Myself And I" and "Naughty Girl", two of which achieved #1.

She achieved massive success by picking up 5 grammy awards for her solo effort. These were for:

"Best Female R&B Vocal Performance - Dangerously In Love 2"

"Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal - The Closer I Get To You"

"Best R&B Song - Crazy In Love"

"Best Contemporary R&B Album"

"Best Rap/Sung Collaboration - Crazy In Love"

Forgive me for not posting too much recently, but I have found quite a few things to post about today. So next up are some stills from Alicia Keys "Put It In A Love Song" video. Beyoncé: Destiny's Child Era!

As part of Beyoncé being the artist of the month, I have decided to go through the different eras of Beyoncé and give you a taste of the best of Beyoncé.

Firstly, we are starting with the Destiny's Child era. For those who are not aware, Beyoncé was part of one of the biggest selling girl groups, Destiny's Child.

The first incarnation of Destiny's Child consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett. As a group of four, they released their debut single, "No ,No, No" in 1997. They ended up releasing two albums as the group of four. These albums were "Destiny's Child, and "The Writing's On The Wall".

Here is a video selection from the beginning of this era. This is "Bills, Bills, Bills":

In December 1999, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson wanted to split from the group. By 2000, they split and were replaced by Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. After five months of performing with Destiny's Child, Franklin left the group leaving Destiny's child as a trio and the final incarnation of the group.
In the final incarnation of the group, they released a string of hits, and a couple of albums including "Survivor" and "Destiny Fulfilled".
In between the albums "Survivor" and "Destiny Fulfilled", Beyoncé released her first solo album "Dangerously In Love" (Which I will come back to in a later post).
The group finally disbanded in 2006 after many rumours. Now I will post a few videos of their latest material.
