Watch: Christina Aguilera's 'You Lost Me' Video

After much anticipation, Christina Aguilera recently premiered her 'You Lost Me' video. I am in love with the song so I am glad that it was made a single. I think the single choice was to go for a ballad as the record company think this will save her 'Bionic' era. I'm not sure that this will save the era tbh, but you can't deny that it is a good song. The video is a bore fest and probably won't rack up much interest, but on the plus side, X-Tina does look good. Check it out below and let me know your thoughts:

Christina Milian & The-Dream Split!

So I'm not exactly the know-it-all on the relationship between Christina Milian and The-Dream but I'm going to report this as best as I can. So you may or may not have heard by now that Christina and The-Dream have ended their marriage after a very short period.
They got married last September in a quick Las Vegas ceremony and then split up just months after in late 2009. Milian had their first Child named Violet in February which means that they had officially split before the birth. It has now been revealed that they kept the split private in order to protect their child.
Here is the official statement from The-Dream's rep:

“Terius ‘The Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful,” his rep told E! News.

“The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter, Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”

What this means now, I don't know. But Christina has been working on her album entitled 'Elope' which has suffered many push backs. Only time will tell.

Behind The Scenes: Christina Aguilera's 'You Lost Me' Video

Floptina Christina Aguilera is currently producing her next video for the next single 'You Lost Me' taken from her latest album 'Bionic'. I love the song and the album is decent, but I am sick and tired of it already.
This behind the scenes does not even give me hope that she will even succeed with this next single. I couldn't even watch the whole Behind The Scenes. You can instantly tell that the video is going to be a snooze fest so why bother? *Waits for attack from Floptina stans/fans* Anyways check it out below:

Xtina & Eminem to Guest Star on Entourage

While they won't be in the same scene, the two superstars are going to be among a roster of big names appearing in this season's finale, including Minka Kelly, John Cleese, Drew Brees, Ryan Howard, Jordan Farmer and Kevin Love.

All stars will appear as themselves, with Xtina performing during a party and Shady getting into a small conflict with Vince at Em's platinum record party. Should be a good episode!

Christina Aguilera Poor First Week Sales Predicted

It seems to be going from bad to worse for Christina Aguilera lately. She can't do anything right to anyone, and even the things she does do right, she gets hit back down. To add to the mass negativity from everyone, it seems that she will be feeling it even more so next week when the chart placings are revealed.

On the Billboard chart, it has been predicted that she will place at #3 with poor sales of between 110-120k. The Glee: Journey To Regionals soundtrack and Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack will be battling it out for the top spot, both expecting to sell between 160-170k.

It's not all bad news though, as it has been revealed in the UK midweeks album chart that she is on course for #1 album in the UK. I think this is good, and I will be pleased if it stays this way by the end of the week.
I have really grown to love the album, and don't know why everyone is hating on her. Let's hope something good comes out of this era soon, eh?

I recently posted a performance of Christina Aguilera singing Not Myself Tonight. We have a complete opposite performance this time, as she decided to sing one of the ballads off of her new album 'Bionic'. This track is 'You Lost Me' and is an absolute smash. I really hope she actually releases this as a single, because she performs this song beautifully live.

Check out this interview with Christina Aguilera on 'On The Record With Fuse'. This shows another side of Christina where you get a look into her life and past. The interview was nice and made me respect her more. I am really digging her new album. It took a bit to get into it, but I love it now.

In the interview she talks about her son Max, inspiration, about her past, childhood and her abusive father. She also talks about her husband, her music and her new album Bionic. You get to learn where the name Xtina derived from and she talks a little about Nicki Minaj. The interview overall talks about lots of different things and is worth checking out.

MTV Movie Awards 2010 Performances

So to kick back into things we have some exciting performances from the MTV Movie Awards 2010 from last night. I have performances from Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry - but how did they fare?

'Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg - California Gurls'

This performance was absolutely amazing. Katy sports blue hair which I love and this song is such a hit. I really hope it does well for her. Never have been a massive fan, but this has launched my interest even further. The addition of Snoop Dogg reall helps the mix aswell. The vocals were really good and the performance was really fun to watch. I love the bit with the beach balls at the end which turned it into a right party!

'Christina Aguilera Medley - Bionic/NMT/Woohoo'

Christina actually really killed it on this one. I was really looking forward to this and was not disappointed. I love Woohoo and was glad there was a bit of that included. But overall the performance was really good and at the end we was even treated with a little suprise love heart  - make sure you check it out.

After a long wait, Christina's new video for lead single 'Not Myself Tonight' taken from her upcoming 'Bionic' album is here.
The video is amazing and I can safely say that Christina is not herself in this one. But this does not mean that it is a bad thing; in fact it actually plays to her strengths.
Yes, you may notice similarities to other artists, but I am going to choose to not talk about them this time. I have already watched the video twice, so I think it is definitely worth your time. Check it out below:

Christina Dismisses Lady Gaga Likeness

Last week, or some time not so long ago, Akon let his thoughts be known to everyone, by saying that Christina Aguilera is now mirroring the look and sound of Lady Gaga. I don't think this is true and was proud of Christina for hitting out by dismissing these allegations.
On the subject she hit back by saying:

"It just comes with the territory. That, in particular, is not even worth wasting the breath to comment on. I've been around for over a decade and I think my work speaks for myself."

I am so glad that Christina said this. I am actually getting annoyed of people keep comparing everyone to Gaga. Gaga did not create everything and everyone don't follow her suit. Everyone has their own individuality which sets themselves aside from each other.
I will admit that in an earlier post that I said that Alexandra Burke looked a bit like Gaga in a photo. I weren't trying to say that she was copying her, but just pointing out something that I thought.

Sorry I was not around when this properly premiered but whatever, here it is now! Christina Aguilera's smashing lead single 'Not Myself Tonight' from her upcoming album 'Bionic'.

I will admit that I was not too bothered about this song premiering and that I was a bit sceptical but after repeating the song a few times, I can tell its a hot track that will definitely please many.

So, after another 24 hour wait, we were given an exclusive preview of Christina Aguilera's first single from her upcoming album 'Bionic'. The snippet is really short and will probably not do the full song any justice, but I don't see anything special about it. The snippet is growing on me, but maybe I need the full version.
