24/7 Recommends...Girlicious - 2 In The Morning

After a little while and I am back with a new recommended track. This time I have chosen the new Girlicious single titled '2 In The Morning'. This is the third single taken from their second studio album 'Rebuilt' which will be released this fall.

The song is really catchy and is definitely another smash from the Girlicious girls. Not sure if it is better than Maniac but defo better than Over You. I am really anticipating this new album as I have liked all the new material and their first album was really good!

Before I had another break from the blog I posted the new single by Girlicious called Drank. That was the version without the rapper Spose on it. This version has now been released and is slightly better. I love both versions but this one has a bit of a lead on the other one. Check it out below and let me know what you think:

The song is not too bad and strays away from their usual stuff but it is very tongue in cheek and shouldn't be taken seriously. The cover looks amazing in my opinion. Check out a new track from Girlicious. The track is called 'Drank' and is to be featured on the Jersey Shore Soundtrack. The song was only recorded as a joke, however Jersey Shore got hold of it and wanted it for their soundtrack. Many of you guys will think that it is crap but check it out below first:

I actually think the song is quite good. It is quite funny especially at the end. And it totally don't need to be taken seriously.

Girlicious' Second Album Release News!

Chrystina Sayers who is one third of the girl group, Girlicious recently took to Ustream to talk to her fans. Whilst she was on Ustream she played a clip of a new song from Girlicious called 'Tell Me Lies'. Apparently she played the song 3 times, once in full, second in accapella and third as a snippet in good quality.

Aswell, as giving an exclusive listen of this track, she also revealed that the album title has still not been chosen and that 'Rebuilt' as previously confirmed is NO LONGER the actual title. She was also nice enough to give us a release date for the album, which was 24TH AUGUST.

Apparently, the album will be released in Canada first, and then the USA will get it and then other places. I really hope that the album does finally get released worldwide, because I think they deserve to venture out and be successful. Only time will tell.

Girlicious 'Maniac' Video Premiere

After a long wait and lots of previews, etc, etc. Girlicious finally revealed their sexy video to their single 'Maniac'. The video is probably their best to date and definitely shows off their talents. They look sexy as hell in this one, and I have watched it more than once (which is always a good sign). Behind The Scenes Of Girlicious' 'Maniac' Video

Check out this great behind the scenes video for Girlicious's upcoming video for 'Maniac'. The video is expected to see a premiere on the 4th of May, so stay tuned for it. This video looks into the ideas behind the video, etc. and also they talk about their second album, and that they even wrote stuff on it. Anyways, the video looks like it will be some sexy amazing thing...I can't wait!

Another video from Girlicious. This time the video focuses on the dance rehearsal for Girlicious' new Maniac video. Their dancing is great, and everything points to this looking to be a great video! Can't wait, as I am constantly playing the song, and now need the video.

So, this week, Girlicious's new single 'Maniac' was released to iTunes Canada. I previously posted a listen to the Radio Rip, but know you can listen to the whole song uninterrupted. The track is soooooo good, and it has to be one of my most played songs lately. So, go and support the song by buying it on iTunes Canada and get Girlicious known so they can release worldwide!

Listen: Girlicious - Maniac (Radio Rip)

The amazing Girlicious are back with a new single (that is now being branded as their first single from their upcoming second album). The song is called 'Maniac' and has now been gaining radio airplay. I have the radio rip for you guys to listen to and the song is absolutely amazing. I thought 'Over You' was a great song, but this clearly blows it out of the water.

The video will be shot for this song in April and will be released as soon as possible after the video has been shot. The song will be released to iTunes on April 6th and is rumoured to be released worldwide.

I hope the song actually gets recognition and I really think they could branch further than Canada with this release so fingers crossed. Anyways, onto the song...

Girlicious Member Natalie Mejia Gets Arrested!

It's not going very good for Girlicious at the moment, after their latest single flopped in the charts. Now, one of the groups members, Natalie Mejia has been arrested for allegedly carrying over 12 bags of cocaine.

Apparently, Mejia was a passenger in a car that was pulled up for speeding in California yesterday. The police noticed the bags of cocaine in her Gucci purse and was arrested.

Girlicious News!!

Yes more Girlicious news. I recently reported that their second single was to be called 'Tell Me Lies'. It has now been confirmed by both Robin Antin and Girlcious' manager that their second single will be 'Maniac'. It looks as though a video will not be made for 'Over You' and that they are focusing on this song.
I can't wait to hear this song, as I love these girls so much.

Girlicious To Drop A Second Single!

According to Girlicious member, Chrystina Sayers, the group are planning to release a second single and that a video will be shot for it very soon. The song is to be titled 'Tell Me lies'. This has led to confjusion as to whether 'Over You' was in fact a single and why a video was not released for it.
This sounds great as we are getting to hear more material from them, but I don't want this to get mucked up because I would love for them to release worldwide rather than in just Canada.

Girlicious Album Photoshoot!

I was looking around on twitter and came across Robin Antins twitter account. She is the manager of PCD and Girlicious and posted up a picture of Girlicious' new album photoshoot. I am going to post the photo below and then will discuss my views. Note: The picture isn't exactly high quality but it is good enough.

How sexy do they look! Its the best photo of them together in ages. I seriously hope that this becomes their album cover or something similar because it looks absolutely fantastic.

New Music: Girlicious - Over You HQ

Well here it is, Girlicious' first single from their sophomore album. The song is called "Over You" and was released on iTunes in Canada today. It sounds so much better than the radio rip. Expect to hear more from Girlicious on here as their sophomore album is to be released sometime in 2010. Hopefully this will ignite success for them so they can come over to the UK.
