The Brit Awards 2010 Nominees!

So updating a little later than expected, I know have the list of nominees for each category of The Brit Awards 2010. I am actually looking forward to them this year and hope they have some great performers. The performance list has yet to be announced, but as soon as it becomes available I will be sure to post about it. But moving on, to the nominations...

Album Review: Rihanna - Rated R

Today I am going to be reviewing Rihanna's "Rated R" album. I said that I would be featuring a few reviews, so this is my second review so far. Definitely expect to see more, and if there are any albums you would like me to review, leave a message in the chat box and I will tell you if it is possible or not. I know that this album has been out to buy for a few months but updates are as slow as ever and I think it would be best to get some album reviews in before I am bombarded with updates.
So, moving on...
This is Rihanna's fourth studio album, and is completely different to the other material that she has produced.
The producers who she worked with for this album include; Chase & Status, The-Dream, StarGate - to name but a few. It has already spawned two singles, and her next single "Rude Boy" is expecting a release in February 2010.
This album is a complete change of direction and takes on a much darker side of Rihanna. I believe this is to do with the complications that she had with Chris Brown last year. But don't let that affect you, as I haven't even got onto whether this album is worth checking out or not.
On to the track by track review...

Lady Gaga Cancels More Concert Dates...

I did not post the news of Lady Gaga collapsing during her concert last week. But I am going to post about it now, followed by extra information that has arose today. Last week, Lady Gaga was supposed to perform in Indiana, but minutes before going on stage she was advised not to go on stage by her doctor. News came that she was suffering from exhaustion, so this is why the show was cancelled. It was later rescheduled to a later date.
Today it has emerged that Lady Gaga has cancelled more of her concert dates for her "Monster Ball" tour. This includes the concert she was supposed to be performing tonight. These shows are expected to be rescheduled, but no news has been given on them yet.
Here is the full official message from her website:

"Dinosaur"

"Tik Tok"

"Take It Off"

"Backstabber"

Enjoy :)

Monica - Everything To Me - Official Single Cover?

This picture has been posted on Monica's twitter page. It looks to be the cover to her new single "Everything To Me", but is it official?

I hope it is, because it is such a great cover. Hopefully the album cover matches the quality or exceeds this as I definitely think her image is better for this album than some of her previous albums. She looks much more elegant and grown up.

Let me know what you all think :)

Album Review: Ke$ha - Animal

When Ke$ha's album was released last week I made a post to tell everyone to buy and support the artist. At that time I had not even heard the album and couldn't have been too sure if this album would even be worthy of a listen. After growing to just like (not love) her debut single "TiK ToK", I had a listen to the album and now you can read my thoughts on it.

Firstly, to note, this album is not to be taken seriously and is full of great trashy pop songs (this is not a negative comment). My first impressions of the album was that it was a good pop album that trails off towards the end. After listening to the album a further number of times I can now give you my impressions track-by-track.
