Xtina & Eminem to Guest Star on Entourage

While they won't be in the same scene, the two superstars are going to be among a roster of big names appearing in this season's finale, including Minka Kelly, John Cleese, Drew Brees, Ryan Howard, Jordan Farmer and Kevin Love.

All stars will appear as themselves, with Xtina performing during a party and Shady getting into a small conflict with Vince at Em's platinum record party. Should be a good episode!

Amazing New Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Trailer

Just recently the new Harry Potter trailer for the final 2-parter film, 'Deathly Hallows' was revealed showing clips from both parts of the film. Part 1 will be coming in cinemas this November, followed by Part 2 (the final installment) coming in July 2011.
Check out the trailer below, followed by my thoughts of the trailer:

How epic does this trailer look?! This is the film Harry Potter fans have been longing for! It totally blows Twilight out of the water. I really can't wait to see this film. November 2010 and July 2011 really can't come any faster for me!

Drake Sued by Playboy

According to Hef's company, Drizzy Drake's song "The Best I Ever Had" illegally samples one of their copyrighted songs -- "Fallin in Love" by Hamilton, Joe Frank and Dennison/Reynolds. MissTilaOMG.com reports, "Playboy claims that Drake and his crew 'knew or should have reasonably known, that the sound recording was protected by copyright…' and that 'each Defendant continues to infringe upon Plaintiff’s rights in and to the copyrighted sound recording.'

We'll see how this plays out, but if you want to take a listen for yourself and let us know your thoughts, MissTila has both songs up on her blog: MissTilaOMG.com

Watch: Fantasia's 'Bittersweet' Video

Check out Fantasia's new video for her new single 'Bittersweet' for her upcoming album 'Back To Me' now scheduled for an August 10th release. I actually really like this song, but I think that Even Angels is slightly better. To say that I am anticipating Fantasia's new album is an understatement so I was annoyed when I heard it was pushed back.
Anyways, check out the video which is decent enough:

A Quick Hello

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to do a quick intro to myself, the newbie blogger. My name's Michelle, I live and work in L.A. doing music marketing and have loved this industry since 9th grade (that's 11 years ago if you want to do that math). I'm super eclectic in taste (for example, Eminem is my idol, yet I'm going to see the Backstreet Boys show tonight) and hope to bring a bunch of stuff to the site to keep it awesome and also give Dan a break when needed :)

Tips, suggestions, comments always welcome! And thanks for your patience during this quick hiatus. Back shortly!!!

Small Hiatus For 24/7 Entertainment

I have come to the decision that 24/7 Entertainment should take a small break!

This will only be a really short break and the blog will be back bigger and better very soon. I have got the help from another blogger, who will be introducing themselves very soon. Once help is on its way, I will be able to post properly as there won't be so much pressure on me to post everything.

So for now, I may do a few posts to recap a few things, but the real posting shall begin soon.

Stay tuned and thanks for visiting us :)

P.s. The blog has reached 50,000 views - so thanks for making that happen!!

The Saturdays 'Missing You' Cover + News!!

Here is the single cover to The Saturdays' upcoming new single 'Missing You' scheduled to be released on August 9th. I can see they have gone back to the old logo, which I am happy about. Also, the cover looks amazing and I can see they they have tried to get the colour scheme going again!
It was also revealed that Missing You will be the lead single to an 8-track EP that the girls will release. Apparently the EP will contain the past two singles 'Forever Is Over' and 'Ego' as well as new single 'Missing You' and 5 new tracks!!
I really can't wait for this. It's almost as good as a full new album. Either way I am really excited. More news when it comes available.

24/7 Entertainment Interviews 'Zarif'

So I was lucky enough to get an interview with Charice. I then promised I would give you another exclusive interview.
This time I was privileged to actually interview new up and coming British singer/songwriter ZARIF!
Zarif is of Scottish-Iranian-Jewish descent and ranges from different genres including Funk, Pop and Soul.
She performed as an opening act for BeyoncĂ© last year on her 'I Am... Tour' and I was lucky enough to watch this performance. Ever since, I have become a fan. Check out Zarif doing her thing in her new video 'Box Of Secrets' featuring Mz. Bratt:

Now Zarif is on the verge of her debut album being released and I was given a chance to ask a few questions to her. Check out the questions after the jump and enjoy!

Single Cover: Diana Vickers 'The Boy Who Murdered Love'

This is the official cover for Diana Vickers' second single 'The Boy Who Murdered Love'. The cover is really nice and I really love the song (as well as the album). I missed the premiere of the video and so I don't think I actually posted the video. The video is actually really decent and I like it more than her first video 'Once'. She looks really cute in it as well, so check it out below:

Watch: Sophia Fresh's 'This Instant' Video

This Instant (Feat. T-Pain) [Soundtrack Version]Here is the video to Sophia Fresh's new track 'This Instant' featuring T-Pain. The song is taken from the upcoming Step Up 3D soundtrack album being released soon.
This song just highlights how amazing Sophia Fresh are. How are they not big ffs...
You really need to check these girls out. The video was really good and the dancing involved was really good too. It also features some dancing scenes from Step Up 3D as usual. Definitely worth checking it out:

Please show your support for these girls by BUYING the single: This Instant (Ft. T-Pain) (Soundtrack Version)

Watch: Travie & Bruno Mars Performing 'Billionaire' On Jay Leno

Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars took to the stage of Jay Leno to perform the song 'Billionaire'. The song has been doing quite well and I must say this song is really cool. I have been listening to Travie's album for the last few days and it is really good.
Onto this performance... The performance was really good and I must say that both Travie and Bruno are amazing live. I have really gotten into Bruno Mars lately aswell, so this was a treat! Watch below:

Watch: Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' Video

Check out the amazing 'California Gurls' video from Katy Perry. The video also features Snoop Dogg, some yummy looking gummy bears and much more. The video is candy filled and looks good enough to eat. The video is actually really amazing and really funny. Watch out for the red gummy bear who swears at Katy within the first 30 secs.
Then also keep you eyes peeled for a naked Katy laying on the clouds. WOW. And then for the finale, you will be spoilt silly with a little creamy fun. Definitely a wicked video that needs to be seen. ENJOY!

Watch: Kat DeLuna's Push Push Video

Sorry about how the amount of video premieres, but there have been an awful amount of new videos this week. To add to the list we have the new Kat DeLuna Push Push video. The song was released a good few months ago, and the video has just been released. The video is decent, and the use of mirrors is really good. Plus Kat looks stunning in the video, but it feels like it is lacking something.
Also, I don't understand why the video has been released so late. I'm not sure its really going to ignite interest but who knows. I really want this to be a hit for Kat, but its screaming to flop, yet again!

Watch: Rihanna's Te Amo Video

Here is the video to Rihanna's next single 'Te Amo' taken from her Rated R album. I actually really like this song and was glad that it got a single release. I first heard the song last year when it leaked and have loved it since. So automatically I had ideas of how a video would look. And this video is nothing like you expect it to be. She has continued the dark theme, which really don't fit with the song in my opinion. This is supposed to be a song which has a positive feel. But this video has transformed it into something else. I'm sorry Rihanna but a beach, etc. would have been enough, why oh why did you do go this direction for this song??!!

Watch: Video Premiere Of Travie McCoy's The Manual

Here is the video premiere of Travie McCoy's track 'The Manual' taken from his debut album 'Lazarus'. The track features T-Pain & Young Cash. I really love this track and the video is quite decent too. If you haven't checked out Travie's album, then go do that - cos it's awesome!

Christina Aguilera VH1 Storytellers Performances

Check out these amazing performances from Christina Aguilera from VH1 Storytellers. She mixes some old classics with some new songs from 'Bionic'. My favourite performance is definitely 'You Lost Me' and I just can't stress how much I love this song, and how well she sings it live. Defo check these performances out and comment your thoughts. Enjoy :)

Kelly Rowland Performs 'Commander' On Graham Norton

Kelly Rowland took to the stage of Graham Norton the other night to perform her song, Commander. The performance was amazing and her vocals were really outstanding. I was really surprised that her voice was just as good as CD quality. I did think she was miming at first, but it was obvious that she was not. This performance has opened up my love for Kelly and I really wish her well. Check the performance out below:

Katy Perry Clears Up Lady Gaga 'Alejandro' Video Diss

Do you remember the post about Katy Perry hitting out at Lady Gaga's Alejandro video, posting the following message on her Twitter:
“Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke,”
Well, she was asked about this particular tweet during an interview on a French radio station. Check what she had to say on the matter:

So, she claims that it wasn't aimed at Gaga. I'm not bothered whether it was aimed at her or not. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. And tbh, I love Gaga but this video was just going a bit too far and looked awful.

Fantasia's Third Album Tracklisting, Etc.

Back To MeFantasia is back with her third album this July. The album has now been officially confirmed to be titled 'Back To Me' and a cover and tracklisting have all been revealed. The cover looks nice and the tracklisting looks promising. I am looking forward to this album, so I hope it lives up to its hype. I have heard 3 tracks out of the 12 which means I have a lot of surprises to look forward to.

The album has been confirmed for a release date of July 27th. Peek the tracklisting below:

Watch: B.o.B 'Airplanes' Ft. Hayley Williams Video Premiere

Check out the video for B.o.B's song 'Airplanes' featuring Hayley Williams from Paramore. The song is really good, and I have really gotten into B.o.B's songs. I do prefer Airplane Pt. 2 over this and think it would have been much better with the inclusion of Eminem.
However, I am not trying to say this is bad, because the video is quite decent. It is like a light show and is quite impressive for a low budget video. Anyways, watch below:

24/7 Recommends: Keri Hilson - I Like

This feature is back again, and this time I recommend a song from Keri Hilson. The track was released last year, but I only recently just started listening to it, after hearing it on the E4 advert for 90210. I instantly fell in love with this song, and it is constantly been played on my iPod. Check out the video and the song, because its great:

Christina Aguilera Poor First Week Sales Predicted

It seems to be going from bad to worse for Christina Aguilera lately. She can't do anything right to anyone, and even the things she does do right, she gets hit back down. To add to the mass negativity from everyone, it seems that she will be feeling it even more so next week when the chart placings are revealed.

On the Billboard chart, it has been predicted that she will place at #3 with poor sales of between 110-120k. The Glee: Journey To Regionals soundtrack and Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack will be battling it out for the top spot, both expecting to sell between 160-170k.

It's not all bad news though, as it has been revealed in the UK midweeks album chart that she is on course for #1 album in the UK. I think this is good, and I will be pleased if it stays this way by the end of the week.
I have really grown to love the album, and don't know why everyone is hating on her. Let's hope something good comes out of this era soon, eh?

What do you think of this news? Comment below :)

Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' Hits #1

Katy Perry definitely has something to smile about, as her first single, 'California Gurls' from her upcoming sophomore album 'Teenage Dreams' has just achieved the top spot on the US Hot 100 chart.
It seems that Katy achieved the top spot after gaining strong digital sales of 318k. The song has now sold over a million and has been certified Platinum. It has also done well in other countries as it has achieved a few top 10's, and 5's.

This is great news, and I think Katy deserves it. This song is a complete smash and I am still listening to it. I still haven't got sick and tired of it, and this is the first time I have been so into Katy's music.

What do you think of Katy's chart performance? Comment below :)

Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' Final Single From Fame Monster?

If reports from GagaDaily are to be true, then it seems that Alejandro may be the final single from Gaga's Fame Monster. Her next album, is scheduled to be released in 2011 and was previously confirmed by Gaga herself not too long ago.

If this is the case, then this means that we may get a break from Gaga until her album and a lead single from the new album drops sometime next year. Would Lady Gaga actually want to do this?

I think that she should have some kind of a break, because right now she is being shoved down our throats left right and centre. Also, if she releases another single, then she would have released half of the album as singles. I think this is stupid. If we get a break, then this may build up some hype for when she returns in 2011 with a new album.

What do you guys think? Should she release another single or wait till 2011?

Listen: Kelly Rowland 'Rose Coloured Glasses'

Another new track leaks from Kelly Rowland called 'Rose Coloured Glasses'. Apparently, this has been chosen as a single for release in the US. It seems that Kelly doesn't have the nerve to release the amazing 'Commander' in the US and has only released it internationally.

In replace of 'Commander', she will release two singles aimed at different markets in the US. Recently leaked, 'Grown Ass Woman' will be a single for Urban Mainstream, whereas, 'Rose Coloured Glasses' will be for the Top 40.

Check out the track, here:

The track is OK, but I think she is stupid for not releasing Commander. I still stand by what I said about 'Shake Them Haters Off' and still think that that song would be a better single choice.

Pixie Lott Performs 'Turn It Up' On Loose Women

Here is Pixie Lott singing her new single 'Turn It Up' on Loose Women. This is the fifth single from her debut album also entitled 'Turn It Up'. The song was released this week, but only as a remix package to the annoyance of fans. The funny thing is that in this video she performs the single mix of this song, but for some reason has not released this version of the song for download. The performance wasn't too bad either, but I think I have seen Pixie sing better.

Watch: Xtina Performing 'You Lost Me' On David Letterman

I recently posted a performance of Christina Aguilera singing Not Myself Tonight. We have a complete opposite performance this time, as she decided to sing one of the ballads off of her new album 'Bionic'. This track is 'You Lost Me' and is an absolute smash. I really hope she actually releases this as a single, because she performs this song beautifully live.
So check it out and post your views in the comments below. Enjoy :)

Girlicious' Second Album Release News!

Chrystina Sayers who is one third of the girl group, Girlicious recently took to Ustream to talk to her fans. Whilst she was on Ustream she played a clip of a new song from Girlicious called 'Tell Me Lies'. Apparently she played the song 3 times, once in full, second in accapella and third as a snippet in good quality.

Aswell, as giving an exclusive listen of this track, she also revealed that the album title has still not been chosen and that 'Rebuilt' as previously confirmed is NO LONGER the actual title. She was also nice enough to give us a release date for the album, which was 24TH AUGUST.

Apparently, the album will be released in Canada first, and then the USA will get it and then other places. I really hope that the album does finally get released worldwide, because I think they deserve to venture out and be successful. Only time will tell.

What do you guys think of this news?

Watch: Xtina Perfoming NMT On Regis & Kelly

Check out this video of the wonderful Christina Aguilera singing her first single from 'Bionic', called 'Not Myself Tonight'. It's not really a song that is easy to perform live, but she does it quite well. I saw some people mentioning that they thought this was not live. Obviously those people need their ears and eyes tested, SMH. Watch the performance below and see what you think:

24/7 Entertainment Interviews 'Charice'

A few weeks back, I was presented with an opportunity to ask Charice a few questions. Charice, full name Charice Pempengco is an asian singer who rose to popularity through YouTube. At just 18 years old, she achieved a #1 single and her debut album achieved a top 10 slot in the Billboard 200 album chart. If you haven't heard her first single 'Pyramid' which features Iyaz then you can stream it below:

After the release of her album, I was given a chance to ask her a few questions. Check them out and I hope you enjoy!

24/7: I would like to congratulate you in the success of your first single 'Pyramid' and in achieving a top 10 album on the Billboard 200. What does it feel like to have gained this type of success?
Charice: FEELS AWESOME!!! THE FIRST SOLO ASIAN TO GET A TOP 10 SLOT!

24/7: Your new album is amazing. What would you say the main message behind it is and what do you want people to get out of it?
Charice: ALL THE SONGS REALLY REFECT WHERE I AM IN MY LIFE AND MY AGE – ABOUT DISCOVERING LIFE.

24/7: How long did it take to record the album?
Charice: IT TOOK OVER A YEAR. A LONG PROCESS FINDING SONGS.

24/7: Have you decided on a second single from the album yet?
Charice: NOT YET : )

24/7: Are you planning on releasing another album?
Charice: OF COURSE I WILL RELEASE ANOTHER ALBUM BUT ITS TOO SOON TO SAY WHEN ANOTHER WILL BE RELEASED.

24/7: Who are your musical inspirations/influences?
Charice: THE THREE BIG ONES – CELINE, WHITNEY, MARIAH!

24/7: How did you get into singing, and is having a musical career all that you thought it would be?
Charice: MY MOM DISCOVERED ME SINGING ON THE TABLE WHEN I WAS 4 YEARS OLD! FROM THEN I ENTERED ALMOST ONE HUNDRED SINGING COMPETITIONS AND EVENTUALLY GOT DISCOVERED ON YOUTUBE. IT’S BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE – ALL I WANT TO DO IS SING SO I AM LIVING MY DREAM

24/7: Describe a typical day in the life of Charice.
Charice: SING, SING, SING!

24/7: And finally, where do you see yourself in a year from now.
Charice: STILL SINGING AND HOPING THAT PEOPLE ENJOY MY SONGS.

I would like to take the time to send out a thank you to Elissa and her team at Corpta who gave me this opportunity to interview Charice.

I hope everyone enjoyed and stay tuned as I will have some more interviews coming soon (fingers crossed).

Christina Aguilera Interview On 'On The Record With Fuse'

Check out this interview with Christina Aguilera on 'On The Record With Fuse'. This shows another side of Christina where you get a look into her life and past. The interview was nice and made me respect her more. I am really digging her new album. It took a bit to get into it, but I love it now.
In the interview she talks about her son Max, inspiration, about her past, childhood and her abusive father. She also talks about her husband, her music and her new album Bionic. You get to learn where the name Xtina derived from and she talks a little about Nicki Minaj. The interview overall talks about lots of different things and is worth checking out.

Pixie Lott Announces Own Tour

Fans of Pixie Lott (including me) have been waiting ages for news like this. Whilst Pixie may have performed on tour with The Saturdays and Rihanna, she has yet to headline her own tour. This has all changed now, as she has just announced tour dates for her own tour this Winter.

About the tour, Pixie said:
"I am so excited for my first headline tour. I am happiest when I am on stage performing. I can't wait to get out on the road with my band and sing every night for all my fans. I am planning a very special show so come along, I want everyone to leave smiling."
The tickets will go on sale this Saturday (12th) at 10am.

Big Brother Is Back For Its Last Series In The UK Tonight!

For all those in the UK, Big Brother is back for its 11th and final series. It will begin on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm. Apparently, the format is a little different this year, as the show will start with 80 hopefuls, with 12-14 housemates being selected from the 80. We was given a preview of all the 80 housemate hopefuls, which is also new this year.

You can check out the 80 housemate hopefuls here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/bigbrother/news/a223980/meet-big-brother-11-hopeful-housemates.html

Christina Aguilera Performs On The Today Show

Christina Aguilera performed on the Today Show yesterday to perform some new tracks from her latest album, Bionic. She also performed some of her old classic songs. The performances are split into 4 different videos. The performances were not too bad, but 'You Lost Me' which wasn't shown on TV (but was captured as a fan video) was amazing. Check some of the videos below.

'Interview/Bionic/NMT'

More after the jump.

Listen: Auburn - La La La (Featuring Iyaz)

La, La, La (Feat. Iyaz) [Album Version]
I only just came across this track, so not sure how old it is (not too old I don't think). This is the first single by new artist Auburn who is signed to the same record label (Beluga Heights Records) as Jason DerĂ¼lo and Iyaz. In fact, this track actually features Iyaz. The track is decent and I can see it appealing to many.

If you like what you hear then why don't you check her out from these following links:

Ke$ha Performs 'Your Love Is My Drug' On 5 O'Clock Show

Ke$ha appeared on the new 5 O'Clock show on Channel 4 to perform her latest single 'Your Love Is My Drug'. This single is the third one taken from her 'Animal' album. I personally think there are better singles than this, such as the amazing Backstabber or the funny D.I.N.O.S.A.U.R. Anyways, it was a decent performance so please do check it out below:

Katy Perry Gives Thoughts On Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' Video

California Gurls (feat. Snoop Dogg)It seems that Katy Perry doesn't really like Lady Gaga's new video for 'Alejandro'. Katy took to her twitter account to post the following message:
“Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke,”
It's obvious that this is aimed at the Gaga video, as Gaga is seen as being dressed as a nun and various other religious references are seen in the video.

What do you guys think about this then?

Usher Performs 'Lil Freak' On Graham Norton

Usher took to the stage on Graham Norton to perform 'Lil Freak' without the addition of Nicki Minaj. The performance was decent, but I am not warming to the song. I am not 100% impressed with his new album and just don't think he can top of his Confessions album. Check out the performance below:

Katy Perry To Host & Perform On Teen Choice Awards 2010

For all those Katy Perry fans, it has just been revealed that Katy Perry will be hosting and performing on the Teen Choice Awards 2010. The awards will be on 8th August. Katy took to Twitter to tell her fans the news:
"THIS JUST IN: I'll be hosting the 2010 Teen Choice Awards on August 8th!!! TUNE IN TO WATCH THE SHENANIGANS GO OFF!!!!"
Katy is not a stranger to hosting award shows as she hosted for two years running, the EMA's.
I can't wait for her new album, as I love California Gurls, so I hope the album mathces up to the lead single.

What do you think of this news?

Watch: Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' Video

Sorry for the late posting of this video, but I was busy yesterday afternoon (went to see StreetDance 3D - review soon hopefully!) and so I missed the premiere of this video. Another highly anticipated video from Gaga. However, I said I wasn't looking forward to it really. Watch the video first, then check out after the jump to hear my thoughts!
